Some call for stalling Tennessee teacher evaluation consequences
While an effort is under way to prohibit by law any negative action against teachers who fare poorly under a new evaluation system, House Education Committee Chairman Richard Montgomery hopes such action is unnecessary.

The Race to the Top was a less than revealing way of evaluating teachers' performances.
Class attendance ( save illness and injury ), class overall performance and retention is the best way to determine if the teacher is imparting knowledge.
