It amazes me that when Beverly Perdue was elected Governor... she accepted the office by stating; "The citizens of N.C. have spoken!" And with promises to live up to the voices of N.C... citizens. Of course this is what most politicians claim... All bird chested and kicking up dirt like a wiener dog after relieving itself. But when the "citizens speak" and vote in a manner in which the politician dislikes... Oh well... that's different. They're just a bunch of backward thinking hillbillies (no offense to hillbillies as I'm from that way myself). Perhaps this refugee from a Batman comic book (Joker) could best now serve this state by sitting in the Governor's mansion and riding out her time in quiet. Nothing she can do will ever leave a lasting moment of achievement in the history of N.C... other than being it's first woman Governor. She can stand next to Obama the gallery of the first "whatevers"! Right next to Jimmy Carter! Mississippi... didn't get slammed... it was lifted up!
