I was stationed in Bremerton WA and spent a lot of time kayaking around Puget Sound including the San Juan Islands. Gorgeous country, loved the mountains. But I was there in '01 for the 6.8 earthquake; that was enough for me! Now I'm safe & sound on Michgan's east coast.
And the water doesn't stink, nor is it sticky, and you can drink it!

I'm not sure I'd go that far......(lots of fish pee, deer crap, etc), but I'll never trade my crystal clear blue Lake Huron for anyplace else, with the exception of maybe Lake Superior.

I always hated the smell of low tide, but the starfish were cool.

Is a good point now that some people are waking up to the reality the global warming alarmist did not want to talk about. That 90% of the warming we are going to get is already in the pipeline and that changes we make will do little to stop it. Think about how we are going to live with it instead.
You make mpore sens than anybody I have heard speak about htis. It will take a 100 years at least to reverse the effects of Global warming if right this minuet we stopped all carbon burning. Not going to happen. we got to learn to adapt to it.

Watching the slow decline of civility in a high tax progressive region is fascinating. This is high money in a rich nation. To those who want to survive when the real bad times arrive. Learn from this.
