Kaiser-

I don't know what these idiots are talking about but I support and applaud your efforts to offer work to a "will work for food" sign holder-- even if he really didn't want work -or- food.

What if you're a wounded veteran who can't work?

Why do u hate disabled veterans? Why do you want to deny disabled veterans who are unable to work fresh food?

That's just un-American. I bet you've got a communist flag hanging in your garage, don't you?

Some homeless are in their predicament because they don't choose to change their situation. There are plenty of programs out there. If they stay homeless, then thats cause they're lazy, drunks and crackheads. Try giving them a chance for a job or training and guaranteed 95% of them will turn it down and stick with handouts.

Well, as much as we're all impressed with your highly educated view of homlessness, you're wrong. Most of the homeless in this country are mentally ill, and the vast majority aren't even on services, which means that they're not costing you a cent.

You ARE talking about veterans!

Don't spew that anti-American crap around here. What are you, one of those long-haired, hippy-type "right on" fairies who hates our servicemen?

People like you make us REAL Americans sick.

Welfare should be short term like 6 months. People get on it and never get off it. They offer free career training for anyone on welfare but why would they work when they can sit at home smoking cigarettes, drink beer, and watch tv and let everyone else work instead. And now that farmers market accepts foodstamps??? Why not do away with the american dollar and just pay everyone in food stamps since everything is accepting it.

People on welfare are eating better and driving nicer vehicles than average joe who is making $10 hour job trying to support his family. Rid welfare and keep offering free job training and the economy would upswing for the better. The average working man would have more money to spend not paying into welfare programs.
