MA Cigarette Tax Hike Could Boost Illicit Sales
Governor Deval Patrick has proposed increasing the state's cigarette excise tax by $1 to $3.51 per pack in his Fiscal Year 2014 budget, but some policy analysts said the tax hike will only drive smokers across the border and to back channels for cheaper cigarettes.Full Story

Eliminate 45 personal tax exemptions.
Index gas tax to inflation.
Increase state income tax by 19%.
Increase cigarette tax by 39%.
Increase MBTA fares by 5% every two years.
Increase tolls by 5% every two years.
Increase RMV fees 10% every 5 years.
Give illegal aliens in-state tuition.
Here's something, decrease sales to to 4.5%.
