Growing up in Chicago and the Midwest....we thought WLS AM could reach anywhere with the Top 40......used to sleep summers on the cold front porch, with my Transistor Radio.....lol....

He broadcast from Mexico I remember because Stations in Mexico could broadcast with 5 times the power US Station could. It was said birds that flew near the broadcast tower got fried instantly..There where a number of Station here in California with their offices in San Diego and their towers in Mexico back then.
Gues since I remember when AM stations played Music , Im getting old.

Took I-10, from Jacksonville to San Diego, many years ago....along the Mexican border, their stations were real loud, so i guess that makes sense.....We spent 3 days, just driving through Texas....lol....

In all fairness to the American public, he was rejected for a 2012 Republican Party nomination for president of the United States.
