Instead of perpetually tarring and feathering tobacco and alcohol users, they need to quit pouring so much money into something-for-nothing social programs that offer zero return on our tax dollars. The pro-welfare and pro- illegal alien atmosphere in this state are suffocating productive, responsible residents of this state. New Mexico is fast becoming the California of the southwest.

Now over half of the population is on the dole (police, teachers, other government employees, welfare recipients, socialist security recipients, etc). With those who really pay taxes becoming more and more extinct, what do you think will happen? You can only print money for so long.

During Bill Richardson's reign, spending went through the roof with the bubbles in real estate, federal spending, and oil.

Taxes don't need to go up, the budget needs to be prudently managed, cut, and trimmed. It is really that simple.

Too many people on the payroll, who don't provide meaningful services, it is time to get rid of the state featherbedders, and send Fat Bill to federal prison.

This is what happens when you have 3 million illegals in your state who don't pay income or property taxes but use the schools, hospitals and welfare systems for free. And those that have jobs send the money back to mexico!!!

Is it asking too much for our governor and legislature to show a little fiscal responsibility? Like most liberal politicians it is much easier to raise taxes.

Who do you vote for if you want smaller government? Democrats want to pump money into welfare and give away programs and republicans want to pump money into the military and the gestapo.
One wants to give billions of tax dollars to illegal immigrants and the other wants to spend billions to keep them out. I voted for Reagan twice while he chanted for smaller government. When he left office government was bigger and more expensive. There is no party that wants to shrink government.

Big deal - fat a-r-s-e Bill was down in the
Southland stinking it up.

Do us a favor - don't visit, don't call and
when you leave don't feel like you need to
stop by on the way out of the state.

Here they come - the Dumb as Crap tax and spend
clownbots that seem to populate NM government
and National government.

Now these clownbots have driven the state into
bankruptcy, are desperate to do anything to try
to save their little rice bowl programs and of
course see the only way out is to raise taxes.

How about Fat a-r-s-e King Bill let go of the
102 political appointees that he has on Staff
over what he is alloted and each starting
in excess of $70,000 a year on average with
most earning six figure incomes.

King Bill and the Dumb as Craps have run the
state into the ground and now want to settle
their screw-ups on the backs of taxpayers -
seems like Dumb as Craps across the country
only have that vision - JUST TAX THEM MORE -
THEY LIKE IT!

perhaps we could start by limiting there pay and there benifits, and there time in office. 4 years does not make a retirement 20 or 25 years does. they should have the same retirement that a sgt, in the military and no more than that. Our military put there lives on line every day 24 hours worth for our country what has Mr. Bills working hours been like,? you judge. if these fat cats don't like the bennies they can always start there own law office, and leave offices of the Government to honest hard working people. the hours now in the house of reps tuesday threw thurs. Give me a break! 3 days a week and there always going on holliday likw 2 weeks while we maybe get 4days off. Plus the raises they give to themselves WOW, who regulates them? since they work for us we should determan there wage hikes. Well this is just a starter ,I know there is more ,alot more. trim there fat away and we the people can make them responsable to the bussiness of our country.

Absolutely!! All these slimmy politicans, from that dope in the White House to those slime-bags in Congress need a long vacation!! We need "real people" in politics, not these clueless politicans like the crew currently inhabiting the White House! Folks like the new counselors who where elected in LC. Not these life-long slimmy, back-stabbing politicans who have never had a "real" job in their lives!!! We have had enough of those already! Am I right?!?!

start with voting them ALL out. then contact the new ones you vote for and tell them that if they want to keep there job they must decrease the size of government or they will be out the door too! Keep your promise some thing they seem to forget after getting into office. As for the who, it is a personal thing no one can tell another realy whom to vote for. Every one has different thing to look for in a prospect. I look for adhearance
to the constitiuion and honesty of record.I don't look to the party affiliation. compare, and talk with others you can trust but make it your choice.
