Romney seems way too immature to be president. He seems like a spoiled brat that pouts because he didn't get his way. Someone that would have served as president, should act more mature than this.

Now the party is rightfully repudiating his remarks.

Too bad they didn't catch on sooner.

Gingrich is both very smart and very knowledgeable. He is too wacky to be president, but he does have a lot to contribute, both to the party and too the country.

For example:

"I'm very disappointed with Governor Romney's analysis, which I believe is insulting and profoundly wrong," Gingrich said in an interview with KLRU-TV in Austin.

"First of all, we didn't lose Asian-Americans because they got any gifts. He did worse with Asian-Americans than he did with Latinos. This is the hardest-working and most successful ethnic group in America--they ain't into gifts.

"Second, it's an insult to all Americans," he continued. "It reduces us to economic entities. You have no passion, no idealism, no dreams, no philosophy. If it had been that simple, my question would be,'Why didn't you outbid him?' He had enough billionaire supporters, if buying the electorate was the key, he could have got all his super PAC friends together and said, don't buy ads, give gifts.

"Be like the northwest Indians who have gift-giving ceremonies. We could have gone town-by-town and said,'Come here, let me give you gifts. Here are Republican gifts.' An elephant coming in with gifts on it."

Gingrich also as a sense of humor, always a welcome trait.

blacks and libs sure didnt love newt when he suggested unionized school janitors be fired and "urban" highschool kids be given the jobs at min wage, lol

newts trying to score points... noone will put him on tv unless he says these things... it all about making that $$$

Romney was obviously not talking about "gifts" as in, things being handed out to the electorate

he was talking about foodstamps (which have increased 40% under obama), obama phones, the redistribution of people wealth through the present income tax system, etc...

I personally think the programs need a overhaul, I know people who have gotten foodstamps, I know they give out to much, I know people stand at the check out lines and sell them for 50 cent on the dollar... the amount should be dialed back, the people should be forced to take advantage of sales and coupons, if they are too lazy to do that, thats on them

if cell phones at discounted prices are cheaper to provide than hardline phones, I have no problem with that, but their phones should not be data using smart phones, they should be bare minimum, and their minutes should be limited at the lowest plan available

the tax code is a joke, if it were up 2 me... noone making under 35K would pay any taxes (but also get no credit or returns) then you can make it a progressive system up from there, in 1 to 2% increments, with no more write offs, you pay where you are.

however, no of these programs will ever be changed, becuase its a way for the politicians to buy votes, we will eventually go bankrupt, they will print more money, everything will keep getting more expensive (hyperinflation), and only the people at the top, that have the money to invest in commodities, and tangible items that have worth,- precious metals, real estate, stocks, etc... will be the ones to not feel the sting of it

Im willing to give socialized medicin a shot, If its done right, and the majority of people can have health insurance, at the only cost of, "standing in lines", traveling for specialized care, etc... then I have no problem w that...

quit whining cuz ur son need specialized autism care, you make 100k a yr, want to live out in the suburbs and have to travel 70 miles for the therapy... guess what, you make 100k a yr... Travel or Move.

As the typical whiners complain about wealth redistribution and the food stamp crowd, in reality the wealthy are the ones have gained.

Income inequality is at an all time high:
