I am so sorry for your loss. I didnt mean to be inconsiderate and I am sorry it read that way. Just trying to emphasize the importance of water safety and wearing flotation devices. Again, I am sorry, please forgive me.

You know, I feel really sorry for people like you. It must be so hard, not having ever felt love or loss before. Here's a little tip. To make friends, there's this thing. It's called EMPATHY. you can find it in a thing called a DICTIONARY. Now stop making fun of this. I can't wait for the day when you lose someone you love, and then someone else makes fun of the death.

Let us forget all about and not respond to Mr. Christ in Fairmont. He is
feeding off of our energy. Let us spend our time praying for this family and sending our positive energy to them.

Have they found him yet? I've heard they've been searching for 4 days now. Prayers for everyone searching and for the families.

According to the last phone call we received, no they have not found him. His name is Mitch, he and his newlywed wife have been going to Summersville Lake for years and have built a large circle of friends there. His wife lost her father at Summersville Lake 12 years ago in a boating accident so we are all confused by the reports of a lack of a life jacket....that has NOT been confirmed...as they were super cautious and he was a certified diver. Please continue the prayers. Thank you to all of you whom have displayed great empathy.

I think people are confused since both boats had been owned by the step-dad.

I know that family and friends are having sleepless nights awaiting word. Heartsick.

I can't believe they haven't found him yet. Is there currents at the bottom of the lake or something? Just trying to understand why it's taking so long. I don't know much a about the lake in Summersville. Nobody seems to know what really happened. Was it a boating accident or something? Prayers for his family and friends. God bless.

He was a great guy. His wife will be one of my fiancée's bridesmaids when we are married this fall. Anyone that knew him for 5 minutes could tell he was such a great soul. In my house he will be celebrated for fricken ever. Peace and love to those who are sending well wishes.

Certified driver that is a good one. LOL. Sounds like the wife is a suspect. Can you say life insurance policy. Something is rotten in Summersville.

"Christ", seriously??? How can you call yourself "Christ" and be so heartless??? And are you seriously suggesting that the wife is suspect??? All that I can say following those comments is that I hope, for your family's sake, you, or they never have to go through anything like this. I think you should change your username to "Anti-Christ", because only Satan himself could be so cold.

I am appalled and pray my cousin and her daughter, the victim's wife, are not subjected to this type of conversation. We all make mistakes, poor choices or just do things without thinking when having fun. Don't judge...you could be the next tragic story the vultures go after.

I know many of you have been prayers for our friend and family member and you have asked for the "real" story. Unfortunately, when tragedy strikes much of the information does get muddled up even when told from one family member to another or when given from friend to friend. Not all of us have all of the answers to our questions as we don't want to bombard the immediate family at this time.

Can COUSIN or A FRIEND or BIG BEN share a little more information for these empathizers?

I've noticed all of the posts from this subject forum that have been removed have come from the evil mouth of Christ. As I said before to you Christ....I am praying for your lost soul!

Please overlook or ignore this crazy person who calls himself a name that should be changed to "devil". He is a cruel and uncaring person and of course, all sites and towns have the local idiot, who can't keep their mouth shut and likes to prey on good people that are hurting or grieving. Please accept our apologies for his ignorance and know our hearts and prayers are with the family and friends. So sorry this had to happen. Watch how quick I get a "tongue lashing" from the topix creeper. Just ignore the source, he will answer for his cruelty! I can't believe people can be so cold and heartless.

Still have not found him as of Mon. am...They were on the same ski boat that belonged to the step-father who drowned at the same lake about nine years ago.(He fell off the house boat after hitting his head).
Irregardless , to the causes of this misshap, we have a young wife, mom and dad, and mother-in-law who need our prayers and support. May the Holy Spirit guide and help them.

This is absolutely tragic news. My heart hurts so much for the family and for his wife, Maranda. They are wonderful people whom I graduated high school with. I haven't spoken to either in quite a long time, but I can say they are SO genuine and SO kind. Just know that even though there are no words to make things better, people are truly sending their hearts and love out to everyone affected. The loss of life for such a young human being is never fair, we just have to trust in a greater plan.

So sad by this :( was a friend of the family for many years :(. The wife's step-dad died in the summer 2005 ( went to funeral). He slid down a slide and hit his head and drowned from being unconscious (super freak accident). I have been trying to get information on this without concerning friends and family, Did they find him? I hope they are ok and praying for them!

From the last updates we received Mitch has not been found yet. I cannot imagine how this family will deal with this tragedy that was so similar to the accident that claimed Tony's life. Totally heartsick over this.
