It is a positive step by NY.It would also help if the boys could take a pill to prevent them from getting girls pregnant in the first place.Girls don't get pregnant by themselves;they have help.Girls are not promiscuous either.They are very susceptible to male advances;and,boys know that.Girls,and women,are made that way;and,this makes us so vulnerable.

Don't be dumb! People have to take responsible for their choices.

Lol girls, vulnerable to male advances? If by advances you mean rape then yes, otherwise modern girls are extremely capable of saying "no" and do so often. I like the obvious bias in the first paragraph too...scared she Might GET pregnant? Again, unless it's rape, you have a choice. Also, if you're gonna sleep with someone willingly, don't do it unless they have a condom. While condoms are never a sure thing, at least the man will have done his part to prevent anything happening.

Male pressure is one thing... and would make a convenient scapegoat/universal explanation. but there are a lot of other rasons for teeenage sex, and specifically un protected teenage sex than this. A realistic approach to contraception and sex education in general would really help here for instance instead of cutting funds for family planning;

In the end, anything that can help avoiding the trauma of unwanted pregnancy - and the consequences on the concerned girl's life afterwards- is welcome in this context.
