"Mighty Pen" Thank you for finding interest in this story. Mary Rathbone is my mother. I grew up listening to her amazing story of her and Pat. My mother is one of the greatest human beings I have ever known. I am not saying that because she is my mother, it is the truth. Anyone who meets her loves her.

It is really time this story be shared, 66 years is a very long time.

Even though I have never talked to Pat, our family feels as if she is a member of it. I did write my first letter to her on Christmas Eve. I sent her a copy of our newspaper. Now I am waiting in anticipation for letter.
