I've actually heard of many friends who have gone to stress therapy for dentist visits. There are several breathing exercises that you can use to get through your trip to the dentist office with minimal anxiety. It can also help when your dentist has a tv set up to distract you. http://jphilippdentistry.com

Stress therapy for dentist visits. No way!! For large dental implant procedures some patients opt for sedation. www.dentimplants.co.uk

I've heard of hypnosis for dentists, too. Oral sedation was the best thing I ever did. I don't remember the procedures at all, thank goodness.
