Ancient chariot goes on display

The remains of a man and 250 cattle were found with the chariot A 2,500-year-old chariot found during the construction of a motorway near Pontefract will go on display at the town's museum on Friday.

The articles are tantalizing. How about some better pictures. The chariot is old but this is 2006.

I am deeply offended that the remians of one of my potential ancestors will be going on public display. How disrespectful!

It is difficult at best to know whose ancestor this guy was since it is believed that he was not from West Yorkshire, England. For that matter, he could have been single and on his way to pick up his date for the evening. Talk about a unique way of being stood up. Pictures worth seeing make this worth visiting on the Internet if no other way would make a route possible to see it.
