These travelling people think they are above the law, they hide behind there background and rituals. But if this atrocity had happened to a normal horse owner it would have been a totally different story. This ritual should be eradicated as like many old culture rituals such as fox hunting, all these poor animals experience stress.

I agree with you, though the way our courts are with people who do such things eh will prob just be banned from owning an animal for a few years and maybe given a suspended prison sentence.
Ive always figured if someone can take pleasure from doing that to an animal then they dont belong in a civilised society. Must be a remote island we can send these people to where there is no way off

I hate animal cruelty of all kinds. I do not think the punishment is enough. An animal is just as innocent and dependent as a baby. To be cruel to something like that is sick.

They're pikeys, they're scum, they have no respect for the laws of this land, they have no respect for horses. What can you expect from people who refuse to wash? Banish them from the land if they persist in this kind of behaviour.

You'll find most of the dirty scum you refer to come off your council estates and work for gipsies to suppliment their dole.
