rock salt can be added into the road surface when layed by tarmacers, as the road surface wears the salt atoms are exposed thus allowing ice far less chance of forming on road surface; note; the salt does not disolve so easily as say table salt does; this system would save millions of pounds/dollars and make roads much safer in winter. rock salt is hard and can be mixed with part solid uric acid and then added to tarmac before rolling with road roller compactor andrewlangham@yahoo.co.uk

2 litres of petrol can be added to every 5 gallons of diesel in order to stop diesel freezing; it does not harm engine if used for short period say 2-4 weeks

put anti-freeze in your header tank in loft so that your heating pipes do not freeze in a power cut use car engine ethelyne gylcol only a pound from car motor shops 1-2 litres is ok will not damage heating system; ave you alot of money and the problem of being without heating because of burst pipes and damaged boiler;

ice and snow problems! ie snowy surface! temporary example! use very thick string or thin rope can have knots tied every 6 inchs and then tied around the lorry or car drive tyres; two single twin sets is best for each drive tyre! will get off side roads and slowly and carefully home!
