I don't know how much of a government official or powers the royals have but don't the Brits have somekind of laws for trying to unlawfully gain personal information on officials.

It would never stick but I'd issue an international warrant for the arrest of these two djs for spying, harrassment or somekind of fraud gaining personal information under false pretenses.

I just don't get the phone pranks the moring djs in particular like to play even here. They are boring, pointless and NOT funny. I'd rather hear music, news on discussion on a hot topic. The phone pranks are childish.

What is an English name these days? If one goes to London they will see as many Muslims and Hindus as Anglo-Saxons. The same with Paris.

WTF are you drivelling about?
This is the whole phone call.

Anybody who kills themselves over this is just a neurotic fool.
Seriously, what are people supposed to do, tip toe around because some imbecile has no sense of humour?
And people wonder why Australians traditionally look down on foreigners.

Its a basic privacy rite to not have Medical data shared/stolen etc regardless of who you are. Despite this fact the Police still wish to be granted access to medical data when applying for firearm licenses.

Of course this was no 'suicide'.

This was no 'suicide' because the nurse involved was already unstable OR royal officials/security had a "talk" with her she would never forget?

Alot are making fun of her background but she probably came from a place where you didn't question authority and/or never embarass or complain about "authority"/certain individuals ie royalty.

Its not a suicide if one has been intimidate to take an overdose by an institution such as the Royal Family.

None the less, stupid women should NEVER share medical data over the phone with anyone. If she did this with the Royals she would certainly have done it to Joe the White Chav. See Leveson inquiry and the 'services' blabbing sensitive data for cash. The lack of professionalism today is evident by the racial make up of the labour force.

I agree there might have been some "incentive" by the royal family.

I thought I saw where this nurse wasn't the one who actually gave out information on the royal's condition. There is a lack of professionalism. A true professional would not have gotten caught up in the moment including resisting the urge to go out of their way to please the queen. I think she thought she was just helping out which what a true medical professional does-help people.

As I understand things it's Aussies doing most of the complaining and Aussie brands which have pulled their advertising from the radio station.

So a prank phonecall to a sick pregnant woman in hospital is funny? Strange sense of humour you Aussies have.

Regardless if its a duchess, or a tesco checkout worker (sorry Tesco ladies), pranking sick pregnant women in hospital isn't funny.....

Well, thanks God, we don't have to share your lack of ethics.

Sense of humour, we have plenty, but we never seem to be able to reach the level of mental cruaulty some countries seem to enjoy.

When we laugh, it's mostly about ourself; it's a self-depreciating sense of humour our comedians are famous for.
But tricking someone on a phone conversation to record the exchange and then put it on the air, that's a different matter.
Maybe it's OK in your land, but here communication privacy does exist.

The reactions of many of your compatriots demonstrate that it was not judged OK. Some Ausies still have compassion.

You are quite correct but I would add that until 1917 the
Royal family name was Saxe-Coburg, following on from Queen Victoria. Saxe-Coburg being Germanic, in other words, Anglo-Saxon.
King George V (Her Majesty's grandfather) changed the name to Windsor.

It would appear that this prank pushed the nurse over the edge, it would not have been soley responsible for her committing suicide.
Such a tragedy, as she was a very well respected nurse and a mother of two.
Her ethnicity doesn't come into it, she was a human being, and as such deserves our pity as does her family and friends.
Putting ourselves in the dj's position, how bad they must be feeling, they are taking the full blame for all of this, when it was just young people getting carried away without thinking it through.

These clowns who made the prank should be dealt with by the law.

And Australians should be ashamed of themselves.

The Queen just whacked the nurse and MI5 covered it up. Same as with Diana.
