Would suggest making dining/family areas separate from drinking/music areas; and bringing back in a smoking room (inside).

Level out the duty between pubs and supermarkets. The difference is just absurd, completely unfair, and it's killing pubs that have been community hubs for generations.

I remember being able to go to the pub and smoke but I prefer it now.

I myself smoke. But I prefer to go outside to have one.

The smoke in pubs used to irritate my eyes and make me cough.

Don't supermarkets and pubs play the same tax on beer?

Less pubs and more alcohol-free establishments, more vegetarian restaurants, more yoga places, more gyms; that what we need.

And a total ban on tobacoo too!!

We need to live healthy and kick bad habits.

Smoking and alcoholism cost us a fortune in medical care.
Why should the NHS spend so much money on people who don't look after their health?

Make smokers and drinkers pay for their health care and tax booze and tobacco to make them unattractive.

Nanny state nonsense.

But smokers and drinkers are square with the house if they are paying taxes on those items, so do you want them to be further taxes AS WELL as pay their own medical care?

You want to see the amount of tax smokers pay and what they get back in health care, and if everyone gave up what they going to tax to get that revenue from, the air we breath I expect.

Yes, that as well.

We should start examining the content of that cooking oil as well; not very healthy at all!
