This is the perfect example of the kind of "reporting" the Sentinel publishes. Anyone remember the basics of "Who, What, Where, When, Why" as a guideline to reporting?

The why was very apparent yesterday. Even on a good day, Electric Avenue is a nightmare, especially around the intersection of Rollstone.(Police call was to that area). People do not slow down or pay attention when the weather is good. It is not surprising that this happened with the combination of wet, leaf covered roads, dusk, and drivers who don't allow for changing conditions. This is an area that needs traffic lights.

Now that is some lame reporting!! Typical for the Sentinel

Actually Disappointed...
Since you bring up Rollstone Rd- the accident had nothing to do with this intersection. The accident was right in front of the old Mt Elam Nursing Home(don't remember the name of the place now).
I agree- the intersection needs some help, but was not a factor in this case.

Understood.....I did hear the police/fire/ambulance call to that area, so based it on that. I actually was on that road earlier in the day, and the wet leaves warranted slower speeds. People tend to speed from Mt. Elam Rd. leading up to the Rollstone Rd. intersection, and, it was no different yesterday when I was in that area.
