Why the violence? School officials, students discuss videotaped...

That is funny how no one is commenting on this article suprise suprise its not only the poor hispanic kids that are violent these kids are growing up killing there parents and these are the kids that are born with a silver spoon in there mouth , that there parent work so hard to send theme to private school may be some Hispanic are drug dealers and live on welfare (not tring to justifi that) But atleast we learn how to respect and love ower parents and not fine this violence entertaining where are there morals and respect for others

heres the defferense the way I see it. white kids video themselfs being violent. hispanic kids get videotaped by secrity camras when they get caut braking into stores suprise suprise

Haha..and the first to comment is...look who. I don't recall ANY mention of race in the article. So you brought that one in yourself. And RESPECT!? I'm not racist but I have found that the hispanic race is by far the LEAST respectful. They would be the first ones to stare you down just for accidently making eye contact with them. Come on now. My opinion, it's hispanics like you that give the rest a bad name. BTW where did you get your education? DID you get an education?? You can't spell for beans.

As for this new thrill of videotaping kids getting beaten to death, I think the news HAS to stop playing the video during the news! Unless showing the video or still shots can bring in tips to find the suspects they have to stop playing these. That's exactly what these kids want, their 15 minutes of fame.

Do these "criminals" realize that they will get a police record, possible jail time and then be barred from working in careers that deal with children or other vulmerable populations. When filling out job applications they will have to write down that they have been convicted of a felony? they are sabotaging their future. Hope they like institutional food and pray that jailbirds with their mentality don't jump them in prison and cut up their faces.

It is not a RACE issue. Violence affects all races. NO one is ommitted.

The press, media, and news outlets need to stop showing them. Kids get a sense of glorification from seeing themselves on TV for whatever the reason, good or bad.

This "new trend" is a growing problem nationwide, not just locally. We need tough laws for these kids and officials to stand by those laws and prosecute to the fullest. Maybe after enough people "pay the time for the crime" it will send a clear message that this behavior will not be tolerated.

Video games and TV violence has no effect on kids, right? Nor does ambulance chasing TV news, right? Maybe we should take these troublemakers and make them spruce up the high school. That would give them something to do after school other than go home an blast away at video games or watch pay per view ultimate fighting.
