Independent police watchdog faces axe
Scotlanda s independent Police Complaints Commissioner was last night facing the axe within just three months as the nation gets its first a oesuper-tsara . Ministers propose merging the body set up less than four years ago into a newly beefed-up Scottish Public Service Ombudsman or SPSO, The Herald can reveal.
