I lied to you your whole life, but don't hate me...yeah right! This women gets EVERYTHING thats coming to her. Everyone falls on hard times, most of us don't resort to fraud to remedy the situation. Their children are better off without their "parents", and I use that term loosly!

The way you treat your parents is the way your children will treat you. They will learn from your example.

Very few people are 100% happy with their parents. If the love and care for one's parents should depend on one's judgement of their character. Then very many children will find an excuse not to care for their parents.

Judge not, that ye be not judged.

This couple didn't steal any money from their children. And any emotional harm they've done to their children they didn't intend.

These people weighed their sons' grief against greed, and greed won. How horrible for their sons to find out that they've been deceived by the people who are supposed to love them the most, and for years. They had the option to come clean at any time, and chose to continue the charade until they were caught. Now's it's "please forgive me". Yeah right. Who needs parents like that???

Gosh, you are right, these parents didn't "steal" anything from their children, just their father!! They didn't steal in the monetary sense, however they misled their children into thinking their father was dead, but they didn't intend to emotionally harm their children, just simply told them their dad is dead, get over it, get on with your life. I disagree. I am not judging the actions of their parents (that's another whole ball of stinky wax) just agreeing with the decision of their adults sons to have no contact with their parents.
