Ulrike Burkhardt of the Institute for Atmospheric Physics, who is a woman, may wish to discuss this issue with you.

They keep inventing new and radical studies that show that the decades of research and solid papers of the past missed the obvious. Well, the obvious is that AGW theory is still valid and so there is no 'anomaly' to explain. In fact we have LESS warming than would be explained by the growth in the greenhouse effect from MEASURED atmosphere levels. A 'lag' effect from the thermal mass of the planet.

Which leads to the conclusion that this scientist may believe her work, but there is evidence that her claims are wish fulfilment, trying to make a name for herself from getting press notice, not based on the data.

All this indicates is that although the earth has warmed by .07*C and although the earth is warmed with a 'greenhouse effect', we still do not know what warmed the earth and by how much.

I could say, "It's the Sun, stupid," but not to you, because you already know that.

"Us?"
Are you a group, a band of brothers intent on converting the heretics to your faith?
IF the truth ever dawns on you that we're not deniers, that we're just doubtful of your faith and live our lives similarly to others in western civilisation, you'll be a man, my son.

I keep that poem on my desk. Every time a post appears with intent to defame, I remember the first lines.

No one wastes time trying to turn lead to gold, and Topix attracts even denser elements.

We have a very good idea: CO2, by 80-120%

But that's obviously not something you want to hear.

Show me the scientific study, "CO2, by 80-120%". If you go the skeptical science, pull the scientific study that supports the conclusion of the web site, show me that. I don't want to have to wander through all of the studies just to find out they have been misrepresented again. That's your job, you must prove your point.

Look for the study that says "CO2, by 80-120%". That's the one I want to see.

Science is not faith- it is based on evidence.

What you are doubting is the evidence.

That's hardly surprising- you seem to be a serial doubter- smoking and cancer, seat belts and reduced accident injuries, asbestos and lung disease...

If science says the evidence exits, you deny it.

What you are is an anti-authoritarian.

That is why I read the scientific papers. A web site can direct you to information, but because the author is biased, and all authors are biased, the spin is always to the author's bias.

Make no mistake, scientific studies also have authors that have biases, but within the paper the data and methodology is disclosed and based on what was chosen to be studied and how it was studied, the author's bias becomes evident.

Unfortunately you misunderstand them, misinterpret them, ignore papers that tell you something you don't want to believe (however many dozens of them you're shown) and uncritically accept papers that tell you what you want to hear, however many other papers say they are flawed.
