Islam takes over Catholic school

Islam and Muslims have and will continue to contribute to British way of life. In the world of George Bernard Shaw

Tolerance in Britain is an illusion. The problem isn't immigrants not adapting to British culture, it's Brits showing much disrespect and scorn to those who are of any immigrant background. even if an immigrant was well versed in English, knew the customs etc. would they still get employment? No. Would Brits treat them as a decent human? No.
So why would they want to assimilate into a culture that is constantly tearing them down?
As far As English language is concerned, nobody is denying its value and focus should be on helping people learning English. Migrant community believes that an English language skill is key to ensuring equal access to services, opportunities and personal independence. The economic and social survival of bilingual Muslim community depends on English language but not at the cost of its mother tongue. It is a crime against humanity to deprive a community from its native tongue and cultural heritage. Muslim community is bilingual and does not believe in becoming monolingual Brits.
There are hundreds of state primary and secondary schools where Muslim pupils are in majority. In my opinion all such schools may be opted out to become Muslim Academies. This mean the Muslim children will get a decent education. Muslim schools turned out balanced citizens, more tolerant of others and less likely to succumb to criminality or extremism. Muslim schools give young people confidence in who they are and an understanding of Islam’s teaching of tolerance and respect which prepares them for a positive and fulfilling role in society. Muslim schools are attractive to Muslim parents because they have better discipline and teaching Islamic values. Children like discipline, structure and boundaries. Bilingual Muslim children need Bilingual Muslim teachers as role models during their developmental periods, who understand their needs and demands.
None of the British Muslims convicted following the riots in Bradford and Oldham in 2001 or any of those linked to the London bombings had been to Islamic schools. An American Think Tank studied the educational back ground of 300 Jihadists; none of them were educated in Pakistani Madrasas. They were all Western educated by non-Muslim teachers. Bilingual Muslim children need bilingual Muslim teachers as role models. A Cambridge University study found that single-sex classes could make a big difference for boys. They perform better in single-sex classes. The research is promising because male students in the study saw noticeable gains in the grades. The study confirms the Islamic notion that academic achievement is better in single-sex classes.

Personally I think that everyone should have the chance to achieve what they want no matter what religion or ethnic group they come from. Not all Muslims are bad.

Not true. There are Muslims the world over who are interested in studying Christianity because the Koran praises Jesus Christ, but only regards him as a prophet, not as God on earth. Of course, the Muslims want their religion to rule the world. But, there are Muslims who do respect Christians, while other Muslims are against Christians. There are Muslims who changed their religion to Christianity and are former Muslims. There are Muslims who claim to be both Muslims and Christians.

After many years of a negative portrayal, bias Against Islam and Muslims is deeply rooted in Western minds and it will be very difficult to eliminate it, Spanish journalist Yusuf Fernandez says.

He stated that the neo-fascism and far-right bigotry are increasing throughout Europe as much as fascism and Nazism did in the 1930s and this is one of the reasons why Islamophobia is now rapidly spreading in Europe and has become a major concern for the Muslim minorities in the European countries.

The Islamophobia is a real problem in the Western societies, not only for Muslims but for the whole society because it is a hatred phenomenon, which is harmful for all people. Today, many politicians attack Islam and Muslims just to gain votes and in some countries girls are banned to wear headscarves at high schools or work places. Opening a mosque is also becoming more and more difficult in some countries.

Generally speaking, the image of Muslims in Western media is very negative and poor. When Western journalists speak about any issue, they are supposed to know the issue they are writing about. But this rule is broken when they write about Islam. They can then make claims that have nothing to do with the reality of Islam and Muslims. Muslims are presented as fanatics, terrorists or backwards people. Muslim women are presented as ignorant or submissive. These so-called "experts" ignore that Islam gave many rights to the women much before the Western societies did.

There are extremists in Europe who are staunchly opposed to multiculturalism in the continent and are not afraid of physically removing whoever they deem threatening their ideology for a consolidated Europe free of immigrants and Muslims. The most prominent example was Anders Breivik who massacred 77 people simply because they had voiced support for the people of Palestine in a demonstration.

How about we deport you? After all, tolerance of religion is one of the corner stones of western civilisation but apparently you don't want to adopt our ways.

Have you considered moving to any parts of Afghanistan that are controlled by the Taliban?

On the "bending over backwards" issue, you have already stated that any Muslims already here can stay "as long as they integrate" well surely its better to bend over backwards to make a divided community get along together and encourage tolerance, rather than taking your stance and the EDL's action on our streets that you seem to support ie stoning local takeaways and hurling abuse at every "Paki" they see regardless of what religion they are or the fact that most are law abiding citizens. Do you know of anyone who has been forced into Muslim ways? I have lived here all my life and don't know any one who has been "Islamified" ....what a stupiid word that is! Yes there are mosques around here, I can see one right now, but I don't fear being "Islamified" any more than Muslims fear being "Christianized" by the thousands of churches in this country.
