My parents recently bought a set, comprising of a three seater and two arm chairs, my mother and father are both in declining years. My mother has cerebral palsy and required a high standing seat to allow her to get up and down from a sitting position. The sales people of CSL rapidly increased the price 155% despite the promise of a set amount. Delivery was promised seven weeks ago, and was finally delivered last week. My parents also ordered scatter cushions which after seven weeks are still yet to arrive. Yesterday I called on behalf of my parents and was greeted by the most obnoxious and inhospitable salesman I have ever come across. Without doubt CSL are the worst company I have ever come across. The sales people are obnoxious and prey on the vulnerable, yet any issue with their product and they will turn aggressive to the point of abuse.

Sorry I got the name wrong. The company is YES SOFA SPECIALISTS, Droitwich retail park. I have since found out that people have waited over a year for delivery. Been abused. And the company has gone into liquidation many times and reformed.

sofa specialist in droitwich promised my elderly mother a delivery date of 12 weeks from january 25th 2013. these sofas have never been received or deliverd else where and they have taken 1,200 pounds off my mother the full amount. They have promised to ring with a definate delivery date and yet again she has not been informed or contacted. This company does not treat their coustomerts with respect or offer the service they claim to be able to do. My advise is not to ever give any custom to this company or recommend them to anyone else.
Dreadful way to do buisness and treat older folkes who can become very ill over the frustrations of not getting what they have paid for.

I would chase that up ASAP as we have ordered a foot stool to go with our sofa. Ordered in November told it would be ready before christmas and we have been ringing since to chase it up and heard ridiculous convoluted stories as to why it hasn't arrived. My husband went to the Birmingham store today and is has been closed down, the sign taken off and the windows boarded up. We have put down a 90 deposit and think we have lost it so please be aware and contact them as soon as you can.

I have just spoken to the droitwich store the are still trading but bham is closed anyone who has issues should call them on 01905795234. they claim to have sent letters to all creditors but this is obviously a total lie. They have left my disabled mother with nothing to sit on.

Ordered Sofas from Birmingham branch early Feb. Received letter 4wks later saying branch had closed and to deal with Droitwich store. Contacted store to confirm order and spoke to very abrupt man who would NOT confirm who the company was that I was now dealing with although he did confirm my order. Scheduled time for delivery came and went. Phone call last Friday to say sofas would be delivered the following Monday morning and balance MUST be paid in cash! No choice for another delivery date!
5pm still no sofas...phoned very rude man again who was even more rude and
would again NOT say who he was. Sofas eventually arrived at 9pm and was told by delivery man he would not take sofas off van until he had the balance in cash!!!!!We refused as we could not see if they were the correct sofas or if they were not damaged as by this time it was pitch dark. Reluctantly they agreed and the sofas are fine.
I would not recommend this bunch of individuals to anyone ...there were times we really did fear that this store did not exist and we would loose our substantial deposit. Relieved to have the sofas in my possession but fear that others may not be so fortunate. Good luck to anyone who has given them a deposit ....I feel you'll need it!!!!!!!

Thanks to all contributors to this site. I have visited the store in Droitwich and was tempted to return but having read these notices will definitely go elsewhere
I met the pony tail guy and though he was friendly, you know what a pony tail has underneath! Say no more!

We had problems with yes the sofa specialists, never got a sofa and lost large deposit, went via trading standards whom turned out to be a waste of time, so we went to small claims court and won, we have now sent bailiffs in and this is what they do, close the company down and start under a new name and rip loads more people off. Does anyone know where he lives?????
