Go 'fourth' and celebrate

You can watch outhouse races and parades, hear patriotic and other music, and watch fireworks dot the sky at Fourth of July celebrations throughout the next several days in the Rock River Valley.

We thought the entrance fee was way excessive? What ever happened to good olde fashion fun that is affordable - it would have cost me $75 for my family, which is more than a county or state fair entrance fee (they have animals, games and rides for the kids). Thoroughly disappointed with this as it wrecks the appeal of your festival and small town feel!!!!!

I agree, even the food was expensive. It takes the fun out of the street dance.
