How worrying to read the somewhat one dimensional letter from Lady Helen.
My daughter, a successful teacher, working abroad, married an Irish National, having two children. The marriage deteriorated badly, the husband becoming violent in front of the children, which was, for her, the final straw. She separated and the father filed for divorce. The fathers behaviour becam ever more erratic.(he had previously told me that he hated his father, that one of his sisters was "mentally unbalanced and a compulsive liar" and another had "been disloyal and must never be spoken of again". He was (and is) the owner of a newspaper in Bali and was able to manipulate the local court to his advantage. So much so that she was advised by her lawyers and the British Consulk to flee with the children to the UK to seek justice.
Unfortunately, the High Court here appears to sympathis with the view of Lady Helen and she was ordered to return to Bali to see through the appeals procedure.
The children now are the victims of shared cistody, they return often with headlice and other symptons of neglect and general neglect.
The little girl asks if Mummyh can find her a new daddy "one who will love me"
Campaigners should remember that parents have duties as well as rights. People who are the damaged resulkt of dysfunctional families MUST NOT be allowed, without support, to inlict their damage upon children, who have a God given right to unconditional love and support
