Unfortunately, if you aren't deeply informed about 60s - 70s rock music and politics, much of this play will escape you. It did me, and I was AROUND then. I still don't know who Syd Barrett was or what the deal was with him. Decent program notes might have helped.(Whatever happened to decent program notes, anyway?)

I found, too, that it was very difficult to understand the actors who had to use a Czech accent. I don't know if that was a result of bad diction or bad acoustics.
