I booked a table for a party of four well in advance to visited you on Mothers day 14th March 2010 We were put in a cold corner in the back of the resturant my wife had to put her coat on!the starters came and then the main courses of 1 hake and cold vegetables and 3 steaks in peppercorn sauce with hand cut chips on delivery of the meals we were given steaks with the sauce and cold vegetables after a few mins I told the waiter that the veg was cold and asked where the chips were and he said what chips we showed him the menu and he agreed to get some for the three steak meals, but did not get hot veg for the fish dinner when the chips arrived on one plate a small portion they were thin cut chips you could get in a freezer bag anywhere.they left the cold veg on our plates, we had desserts but did not get asked if coffee was required so we asked for the bill after a quick glance at it discovered they are charging us for the pepper sauces 2.95 each we had to point out the error yet again on the menu they agreed to deduct it off the bill of the over charge. of coarse I was standing amounst all the customers who I hope checked there bills later, I did leave a tip against my better judgment. What a shame it put a damper on an otherwise nice mothers day.
Regards MR R Perry.
