Bus drivers' strike across Essex today

Thanks to the bus stike on Monday 26th October, I will be walking to work at 5.am, in the dark. Do the bus drivers think about the safety of people having to do this. I guess not. I had a pay freeze this year. I just carried on working as I knew my job could be replaced. Looks like we could be seeing new faces on the buses soon?
