I always thought the torch was to be carried by a relay of 8000 runners over the 8000 miles. I just looked at the route and thought it was a joke that the torch will be transported between chosen towns for a brief hop of 300 yards by each carrier. Carmarthen then Haverfordwest then Fishguard. Hardly lives up to all the hype does it?
