I'm so sad to hear about Anne. We were such good friends while growing up (in Massachusetts). I thought about her often during the past years and wanted to get back in touch. I just wish I had followed through. I was shocked to hear about this tragic accident. I've been so sad, confused and upset. I have so many fond memories of her and all the fun times as teenagers. I will always miss her.

I met Annie in 1992 in St. John. Over the next ten years she became my beloved friend. She was kind, sweet and loving. She saw only the best in people, and took care of her friends. I spent the better part of the nineties on St. John, Annie and Toby were a big part of that little wild world in those days. I can remember staying with Annie on Gifft Hill in 2000, and spending the morning talking and talking while she worked on a t shirt for a regatta on Jost and CRANKING Black Uhuru SPONJI REGGAE over and over.... She loved the line "We bubble from the bottom then we fly to the top...." I don't know why but that sunny morning sticks with me forever.
I just learned of her death today. I love you Annie. I will miss you.
