Access is about to become even better. From October 21st, single car fery fare falls from 73 to just 35; and from October 27 to December 22 inclusive there is an additional Saturday ferry service. There is also a scheduled air service from Oban (Connel) and Islay, 8 seater with brilliant scenery en route.
In September there is a great Music Festival each year, and this October school-holidays there are plans for various guided walks, craft and arts workshops etc.
