CARAVAN park boss Bruce Meldrum's chance encounter revealed a heart problem that increased his risk of a stroke five-fold. The 57-year-old from Criccieth, Gwynedd, was a volunteer on the British Heart Foundation stand at the Royal Welsh Show when a BHF nurse there checked his pulse.
