A former Gwynedd council workman has been given a three-year community order after an IT manager discovered indecent images of children on computer kit.

The BBC forgot to mention that he had 40 000 images in total, all entered into a database, describing how he paid for them, where he got them from, etc. He only quit his job on Wednesday, until then he had been suspended on full pay for 6 months and then allowed to return to work and worked on school safety projects. He has also been allowed to have pornographic images at his office desk for everyone to see and his manager never intervened.
This judgement is a disgrace. What about justice for the children who have been abused so that he could "enjoy" the images?
An "individual that needs help"? I don't think so. He has been arrogant about it at work, not seeing anything wrong with it, but suddenly at court he is this poor guy. Wake up.
Why doesn't anyone investigate how this case has been handled at the council?
