Another one dead in a cowardly trap, and not even one poster wishes sympathy to his family.
Perhaps the best wishes of the brit public has worn thin who can really gauge it?
Thank you Thomas Mason and may peace for your family come swiftly.

We're too used to hearing this sort of thing, paul sinclair. The British public has every sympathy for any soldier who dies in that sh*thole, but it's one or more each week dying. I would imagine if a vote for pulling our troops out of those sh*tholes were possible, those soldiers would be home tomorrow.

Perhaps the best respects we can pay to him is thorugh the care we take of his family, his comrades and the people of Afghanistan for whom he served and died.

They are counting on us to give the issues our carefully consideration. Ensuring our gov gets the policy right, in tune with international opinions and efforts, is our duty. We might not be there, but what we think and say matters very much indeed.

i know Tutty i was a bit pissed off when i wrote that i dont mean to disrespect anyone, im just fed up of our people being put in the way of harm for a bunch of drug dealing scumbags whom have no regard for life and should really be imprisoned or executed.

This is what we do EdSed, what bothers me is the fact that it is the poor people of this nation who look after them, while the others seem to have no regard apart from calling them brave men in a show of mock love and affection to bolster thier own already overinflated egos.
i might just be a tad cynical but then again its rather common nowadays.

I agree. But unfortunately, real people whose mind processes are realistic are never voted into office. It's one big 'old boys club' and they're mostly all from public schools, totally out of touch with what the majority feel and want. They have never lived as a 'commoner', so wouldn't know common sense if it punched them in the face.
