These anti-gay groups obviously have too much money if they're planning to appeal this decision.(That was obvious even when they brought the case.)

Any nitwit knows SCOTUS is not about to involve itself in the operations of the Republican caucus of a state senate. Clearly, the case was brought for publicity to begin with. And they'll drag it out just to pretend that they're doing something--which is how they'll keep raising money to pay themselves.

The taxpayers need to stop subsidizing these politically-motivated farces. Why provide a free forum for their attention-seeking? Charge them full costs of operating the court. Since constitutional lawyers run upwards of $500/hour, I would think $1000/hour per justice, plus $250/hour per clerk would be a reasonable fee to the losing party.

Yea...they locked down that frigging place like a penitentiary. Reuben Diaz, the one holdout to the vote, was stalked, harassed, he even had to seek help from the F.B.I. for protection against those promoting...tolerance.
