I'm not familiar with British law, but I know over here a guest house stops being your own private home when you allow the public to stay there for money. No one can win a case against Uncle Bruce for not letting them share a room over Christmas, but when you rent a publicly available room the lenders are required to follow laws regarding dealings with the public, and anti-discrimination laws apply. Hey, you can refuse to let black people into your house if you want, but you can't refuse to rent to them.

There is a different standard for place of public accommodation there, I think, and they certainly abide less by fundie xstain bigotry than we do here.

The couple claims they are also opposed to letting single rooms to unmarried, opposite sex couples, too. Make them point to a couple they refused to let to on that basis. Then the bigots can face two lawsuits.
