I think what Putinski is telling them is, " YOu weren't very sucessful as spies but that's ok we still love you. We will support you (until it is time for your suspicious, catastrophic accident to happen)."

Putin always carefully crafts his public messages. This one has two meanings.

First one is to glorify the spy business to Russians thus keeping the spys he currently has interested in staying in the business and to show there are few repercussions from being a spy.

Secondly he is making fun of Americans by openly praising the returned spies.

In your face Obama seems to be the message.

Nevertheless, no matter how carefully crafted, it is very easy to tell when he is lying. Watch his mouth, if it is moving, he is lying.:)

Obama and Putin are working on the Iran nuclear threat but they need to act together to confront Iran on nuclear weapons . Now , Iran , that is a lunatic state ! Russia's Islamic fundamentalists are also heating up the islamic population in Russia. So Ukraine is still unhappy with Russia ? So what ? Small potatoes at this point compared to the real nuts out there. I would say, compared to lunatic fringe islamists that want to stone woman to death for adultry and the mullahs that want to blow up the world , ukraine -russia problems are small! Ukraine was, is and will be , Putin said so himself, in Sevastapol , speaking in ukrainian.

He spoke a memorized comment in Ukrainian- big deal. Remember, his mouth was moving so it meant...he was lying.
