from the story.

"Yushchenko's decision this month to approve a 20% increase in wages and pensions, characterised by critics as a crude pre-election bribe, led the IMF to freeze the fourth instalment of a $16.4bn bailout package. That in turn increased credit market fears of a sovereign default."

Nothing should cause the IMF to withold its pledges. Playing carrot stick with peoples lives and food on the tables for children is monsterous at best.

First we have to see who the next president will be. Will after so many years under the commie rule, Ukraine is slowly moving away from all this thr system of corruption and bribing. Ukraine knows that the world is watching. Hopefully things will get better.

Ivanko, you are being silly again.
Your Ukrainka is digging itself deeper into the system of corruption, thievery and prostitution.
You are correct in saying that the world is watching, but they are also laughing at the clown acts of Yuschenko and his band of misfitss.
Unless Ukraine comes to it's senses, grest nations such as those in the EU and Russia will always turn away from Ukrainka.

LOL Foolish Canooky must be so drunk and confused that you no longer know what your talking about.
Ukraine is not digging itself deeper into corruption like your rozie Roccia. It looks like you have not heard your puppy Meddy scolding the Roccia party for not being open. Most election were controlled and rigged!!! Begging the party to change and must be open in order to win!!! Tak foolish Canooky you support your Pootinmiski the brutal KGB agent and the WHOLE world is now laughing!!!
LOL Roccia will always turn away from Ukraine???? Foolish Canooky you thing that this is something new. Roccia has turned away from Ukraine years ago. Where were the Roccian lawmakers when Stalin starved so many Ukrainian to death. Where were your so called "beloved brothers"???? Where were your beloved brothers when Stalin was deporting the Slavs and the Tatars out of Ukraine??? They were all drunk or asleep or didn't give a hoot ao all of the above! Roccia a great CORRUPT NATION where media is controlled, repoters murdered and above all the criminals are roaming free. What a great nation is Rozie Roccia!!! An apartment blew up due to leaking gazz a sign that no attempt has been made to replace the old pipes. A train was blown off the tracks and number of people killed. Oh what a great nation is rozie Roccia!!!! Now the people will be laughing at you foolish Canooky as you sunk deeper in your dunk!!!!
