it does not matter how far or close the Philippines can do nothing with out the firepower, they would have to appeal to the USA for Aircraft and pilot training, to gain the upper hand.

I am just wondering how you geniuses propose on stopping the poaching marauding occupying Chinese navies and fishermen with firing any shots? If they don't fire a shot you call the Filipinos as weak and you criticize them the same. The Filipinos just can't do anything in you nasty ugly eyes. So what's a Filipino must do?

Just remember firing on another countries people is a two way street. Philippines never thinks of the consequences of what it does. Got China still not forgetting the hostage fiasco, Malaysia for invading then the balls wanting to be paid by them now Taiwan.

Three neighbors and you managed to piss them all off.

1- had the taiwanese not being fishing illegaly nobody would have been shot 2- Sabah does not belong to malaysia therefore nobody invaded anywhere -3 - you talk like all filipinos are responsable for the "hostage fiasco" and not just a few undertrained and illequipped cops.

It was not the first time the Philippines has shot dead Taiwanese fishermen in the disputed waters. In 2006, a Taiwanese fishing boat registered in Taitung, was shot at by two Philippine marine police officers, causing one death and one severe injury. The Philippine police officers responsible for the shooting were charged by Taiwanese prosecutors, but they never came to appear in court and the case remains unresolved. Family members of those shot in the 2006 incident said they did not receive any compensation from the Philippines, “not even an apology.”

No matter if it happens in disputed waters or not, you don't shoot civilians dead just because you can.

Taiwan doesn't collaborate with China in resolving these arguments; Taiwan is also the victim of Chinese' growing greed and desire of control. No matter what disputes you had with the Chinese, don't pay it back at Taiwan.

Make peace with your neighbors.

look this is simple - the waters maybe in dispute - in the context of this between the Philippines or China -you say you support neither party - so your fishermen where either stealing from China or the Philippines - Now had they not been there ILLEGALY nobody would have been shot correct ????? Taiwanese may fish in their own waters or in International waters or with a permit in the waters of another country -did they have such a permit ???

You can't talk sense with the greedy chinks they'll do anything they want and they'll say anything they want now no matter how twisted and much spin in their statements. They are on the total offensive right now.

Common Sense :

If the Phil. Coast Guard machine-gunned a Taiwanese boat in Manila Bay
the Phil. authorities are still bound by international law to give aid to the stricken ship.

Instead the Philippine ships fled the area and that is very mysteriously wrong.

The Philippines is supposed to be Asia's only Catholic country yet they not only killed an unarmed fisherman but escape like criminals.

So how should the PCG knew someone got injured accidentally they were aiming at the engine. So did China got blamed for sinking vietnamese boat or the russian sinking chinese boat?

Phil. Coast Guard are pirates, they have been robbing and killing fishermen for many years now. Latest incident merely just brought this to international media.

Philippines is a bad apple of the ASEAN community, too bad we are stuck with it. Civilised Asia Pacific nations needs to have a counter piracy/terrorism measure against rogue nation like Philippines, similar to that used against somali pirates.

Pinoys think they own the whole world.

They attacked Sabah just in March this year.

So many Sabah policemen and innocent villagers in Sabah were killed and mutilated. Some victims had their eyes gouged by these Filipino terrorists.

The Philippines and many Pinoys are evil as their behavior demonstrates.

You are not honest.

Taiwan, and China never shoot at Pinoys and Vietnamese. They just chase foreign ships away. They are too gentle and often wrong perceived by Pinoys and Vietnamese as timid and useless.

But Pinoy and Vietnamese militia and naval ships often shot at Taiwanese and Chinese ships.

The Philippines and Vietnam treat fishermen from each other brutally too.

Look Pinoys, we can understand you have your difference with the mainland Chinese (PRC). However I hope you are are aware that Taiwan (ROC) is not the same as PRC. Taiwanese see Philippines as an alternative manufacturing base to China and have been helping you to develop your otherwise primitive industry. That is despite your pirate PCG continued to kill their fishermen. Taiwan is your friend, but you have murdered its citizen. Now you can pretty much forget about any future investment from the Taiwanese. You can also forget about your ASEAN mates, they don't want Philippines to cause further embarrassment and don't want anything to do you. Of course you can cry to your uncle Sam and beg for help, and Sam will take it as a green light to come and ramp your reef and rape your women.

Open your eyes and see who are your friends. Despite what you have done to Taiwan, the Taiwanese government is still asking its citizens not to harm Pinoys there. I count many pinoys as friends and hope they are not as idiotic as their fellow pinoys. Perhaps the good pinoys have all left Philippines and working in civilised nation like Singapore, leaving all the barbarians behind.

Look, if your civil servants have made a mistake, apologise sincerely and hand over the murderers. Behave like a responsible member of the international community, else you will have no friends left and be relegated to failed state like Somalia.

the chinese and taiwanese which are all the same. lol. have been intruding in PHL territory and poaching including endangered species. its the chinese who are openly aggressive and does not recognized anymore these bounderies, the chinese and the taiwanese are the same they are opportunists and terrorists. they deserve to be shot, just as they sank and shot at the vietnamese sailors couple of years ago, so who are they to say who are barbaric? the russians did sank and captured a chinese vessel too last year and no overwhelming cry from china or taiwan. why? cause russia is a regional power and do not need china. so china and taiwan are plain bullies and terrorists. just watch how they will try and dominate the south china sea especially now that they have an aircraft carrier and building another one. china is the future pirate/ terrorist.

Balasubas,

All your examples are mainland Chinese, no Taiwanese. I know many Taiwanese, and they are far more civilised than mainland Chinese. Taiwanese fishermen just want to make a living from fishing well within its EEZ. Unfortunately Philippines and Taiwan have overlapping EEZ, and the pirate PCG went there to try to rob Taiwanese fishermen and end up killing one with more than 50 bullets. Self defence, my arse.

Only an idiot like yourself cannot tell the difference between mainland Chinese and Taiwanese, and barbaric enough to advocate violent. I am going to forward your post to my Pinoys friends. This will encourage them to take up British or Singapore Citizenship. I am sure they don't want anything to do with idiotic and barbaric pinoys.
