USA says it's neutral on the sovereignty issue. Wants all sides to settle the problem peacefully.

China wants to shelve the issue for future generations to solve.

Taiwan wants to peacefully share the bounties of the islets and surrounding seas and manage it in cooperation with all parties involved.

Japan says there is absolutely no sovereignty issue.

It seems that Tokyo is acting like Pyong Yang and not heeding big brother Uncle Sam's words of wisdom!

"Prime Minister Shinzo Abe says he will not bow to protests from China and South Korea against his honoring of war dead at Yasukuni shrine in Tokyo."

Is it OK for German Chancellor Angela Merkel and her staff to offer prayers to the Hitler Shrine?

PM Abe and all Japanese please give a simple yes or no answer.

defense minister onodera went to usa to demand that white house say clearly that the isles sovereignty clearly belongs to japan but hagel refuse again . even pres obama knows the isles belongs to taiwan and anyone who wants to steal it will meet same fate as shintaro ishihara , rip!

A US government official has defended what are believed to be Israeli airstrikes in Syria.

Contrast the above with the US statement below:

WASHINGTON (Jiji Press)--The United States has criticized China's territorial claim to the Japanese-controlled Senkaku Islands, over which tensions between the two Asian nations remain high.

"In September 2012, China began using improperly drawn straight baseline claims around the Senkaku Islands, adding to its network of maritime claims inconsistent with international law," the Defense Department said Monday.

----------

China should follow Israel, scrap the peaceful straight baseline claims to the UN and just go ahead with airstrikes in the Tiauyu islands!
