Westerners are very good at exporting barbaric culture to the world. They'll rape anyone in any place, they know no law, respect no law. They need to be stopped and in this British's case, needed to be exectuted.

How's that street protest coming along? In Manila today, only 200 showed up for the protest. In Australia, NOBODY even bothered to show up. What a JOKE! Is that the best you can do?

Manila should sell or rent Scarborough shoal to
Tokyo.

By doin that Japan would guarantee that no Chinese ships would be allowed near the reefs.

PLAN is afraid of even a small Japanese Coast Guard
row boat that Chinese navy boats dare not sail near the Senkakus even as we speak.

Idiot, Democracy is the main part of Communist's uprising and today there is no Democracy for Communists ?

How can Red China invade the Paracel Island during 1974 ??
Why not bring China troops to take over during WW-2 or the same time 1949 ti invade Tibet

Obviously Red China is a thief in broad daylights and now Philippine dares to challenge your Red Chinese dogmeat.

Go n fight the Phillipinas if your J-10 or even J-20 super China fighter aircraft can reach the Huang Yan coral reef island and return safely to Hainan

LOL

So 5 people showed up ? Hahaha, just asking.

'Another protest against the dispute over Huangyan Island in the South China Sea was held in Beijing on Saturday, following a Friday protest.

Five Chinese citizens unfurled banners -- such as those reading, "Huangyan Island will always belong to China" and "Keep your hands off Huangyan Island" -- in front of the Philippine Embassy in China at noon on Saturday.

The protest was brief, as police quickly intervened and took the protesters away shortly after noon.

"Huangyan Island belongs to China," the protesters shouted as they were being escorted away by police.

A similar protest occurred Friday, also in front of the Philippine Embassy in China.

In Manila, about 200 Filipino activists held an anti-China demonstration outside of a Chinese consular office on Friday. The rally also ended shortly and peacefully.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Hong Lei on Friday expressed concern over the security of Chinese citizens in the Philippines and hoped that the Philippine side would refrain from actions that could escalate tensions.'

TAIWAN IS PART OF CHINA:

Reunification of the country embodies the fundamental interest of the Chinese nation.
After national reunification the two sides of the Taiwan Straits can pool their resources and make common cause in economic development and work towards China's resurgence. Numerous problems that have been besetting Taiwan would be judiciously resolved within the framework of one China. Taiwan compatriots will share the pride and glory of a great nation with their kith and kin from the other parts of the motherland.
Taiwan question has long been a destabilizing factor in the Asia-Pacific region. Reunification of China will not only bolster the stability and development of the country itself, but also contribute to the further enhancement of the friendly relations and cooperation between China and other countries as well as to peace and development in the Asia-Pacific region and the world as a whole. The Chinese Government is confident that it can count on the understanding and support of governments and people of all countries in the pursuit of its just cause of safeguarding its state sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The Philippines is lying and creating trouble everywhere these days. Is this country a victim or an aggressor? They say they are victims and want to appeal to the law for "justice". Yet they violate exisitng laws and treaties again and again to suit their own interests.

This post is copied from post#3391, http://www.topix.com/forum/world/china/TQ1VUU...

American user CG criticised a Filipino nationalist fanatic for Pinoys' absurd behavior and lack of integrity in handling land disputes. I replied to CG to give him more information about the treaties and laws the Philippines has deliberately ignored and violated although the Philippines govt and people are adamant to use the laws to fulfil its dreams over land acquisition.

ChaunceyGardiner wrote:
<quoted text>
Look, I appreciate your passion but you simply cannot continue to write this way. I expect that you are a decent enough person and national pride is strong within your veins. However, the Philippines has ignored countless treaties and accords. From the Spratly Islands to the VFA, the Philippines picks and chooses which laws it wishes to obey.
Squatting is what this issue is truly about. Those in the disputed land have no rights to it.

My reply:

Pinoys ignore their own constitutional laws enacted in their Parliament in the 1960's. Such laws were created on the basis of the many int'l treaties including Treaty of Paris.

Such laws and treaties have clearly stipulated that the border of the Philippines on the west side is marked by the 118 degree east longititudinal line. Pinoys now ignore this line.

The Philippines also has made a declaration to invalidate UNCLOS' authority over sovereignty disputes as a condition for the Philippines to sign the UNCLOS.

Thus UNCLOS has no authority over Philippines' sovereignty disputes. But as an expediency now, Pinoys ignore what they made in the past to suit their own motives and actions.

Then Pinoys have disputes with Malaysia over Sabah. I would hate to see Sabah being taken over by the Philippines. Being an ex-Singaporean, I know Sabahans will be better off to stay within the federation of Malaysia.

Philippines thinks Sabah is part of its territory. But despite they say the deal with Malaysia is only a lease in perpetuity, but either Manila nor Sulu Sultan Kiram III can produce any written documentation to support such an allegation. But Malaysia can produce the original document to prove that Sabah was ceded to the British.

Because of Filipino nationalism and greed, they ignore the facts that they have a very weak basis (relative to Malaysia's) for their land claim. They also ignore the fact the Sabah joined Malaysia in 1962 after a referendum, and Malaysia has effective control and administration over this piece of territory continuously since then.

Philippines ran into conflicts with so many countries PRC (China), ROC (Taiwan), Malaysia, Brunei, and even with Vietnam because both countries are competing for the same pieces of rocks in the South China Sea.

Yet Filipinos portray themselves as victims.

The root of the conflicts is Filipino greed. Are they really vicitms?

They have no integrity and pride as a people and a nation!

They exploit UNCLOS to their own advantage rather than for justice.
