IMO Elisabeth Hasselbeck is showing signs of severe mental illness. She has a manic quality in her speech, a crazed look in her eye, wild hand gestures and appears to be a very angry person. She should seek psychiatric help.

I applaud you all the above is true. she has a huge head on her shoulders right now i have no idea who she thinks she is. & also I'm sick of hearing about her kids. she not the only one with kids. it gets old & I'm sick of her get her off the show.

I understand both points of view. There are a lot of hurt feelings out there. Black people have been discriminated against for a long time and are bitter. Not being allowed to have a job, then being criticized for hot having one is not right. Just one generation ago, black people could not even drink out of the same water fountain as a white person. I find a huge generation gap in how people perceive racism in this country. It was very obvious in the exchange on the view. I hate the word and what it represents and would call anyone out that used it. It perpetuates negativity and hatred that needs to be put aside. It is time to move forward. By the way, there is no "typical white person." There is no great white conspiracy. The great majority of white people never participated in slavery. Black people deserve the opportunity to pursue the American Dream and are doing so with great success. Stereotypes are stupid.
