TV's 'Ugly Betty' broke ground for Latinos, gays
During its four-year run, television's "Ugly Betty" skewered the New York fashion world, nabbing celebrity cameos from the likes of Lindsay Lohan, Shakira and Isaac Mizrahi.

I woud disagree with that! Portraying an 'ugly latina' who is spite of helping her office colleagues break the glass ceiling by being a heroine still never gets laid! While the pretty
ones do, in spite of being portrayed as 'drama-queen' bitches! Not unlike Jerry Springer's common
daily staged hand-to-hand combats between whom appear normally noble working-class minorities!
Maybe one day 'Ugly Betty' will remove her orthodondist metal clasps, go backstage to Rachel Welchs' dressing room, and be a real classy Latina vamp!
