Anyone who hasnt seen the Wire, it is the best show on tv, Baltimore ties or not. It will grab you and never let go. Powerful, touching and thought-provoking at the same time.

I agree, it's a very good show and I'm sad that this is the last season.

Nice to hear that Clark Johnson's back in the acting game, though I wonder if he's a little rusty. I wonder if he directed some of the eps he appears in--what an auteur!
Can't wait. Best show ever. Unbelievable that the Baltimore brass almost drove the show out because they thought it cast the city in an unfavorable light. If anything, learning about the city's politcal infrastructure makes me want to move there even more.

The impact of The Wire can't end here. Thrilled to see Clark Johnson back in action in front of the cameras. If I could give it six stars, that would be my rating.

And Season Four left indelible impressions and ripped out my heart.

no chance that yo'lesker's lines will be his. he is reading from a script.
will the script reference that the paper's circulation is heading down the crapper?

One of the best shows ever. Why?
Because it is real, not like the typical Hollywood Fake, Stupid, BS that pollutes most of the channels 24/7.

The best series on TV, EVER and I'm not a fan of cop shows. Be proud Baltimore!

Yes, Clark Johnson directs the first episode, and he will direct the finale, according to HBO.

"This year, creator David Simon - who spent 13 years reporting for The Sun before leaving to become a writer and producer on Homicide - turns his lens on media." -OR- Just like the show portrayed it last night, he was "BOUGHT OUT". But once again, this is the SUN and details come later.
also
"Two major lies drive the action this year...born in the belly of the fictionalized Sun newsroom by an ambitious and amoral reporter with a history of making up quotes." If we did a NEXUS search, how many "Unidentified" quotes would we find?
