I Love "The Wire" Why this show has not won more awards is a mystery to me. Maybe it is Hollywood racism like Ed Norris claims. The local actors are so good that you think they might just be be what they play in the show. These people are really actors and they know their craft and have many years experience. "The Wire" blows away "The Sopranos". The difference between the two is black and white if you get my drift.
