I can't help but laugh as to how every show seems to have "great advance buzz".

Why do journalists keep repeating that meaningless claim?

Why do editors let it be published?

NBC is already leaving through "else" as its lost the vast majority of its once massive Thursday audience.

But the Emmy nominations, Rena, the Emmy nominations! They have 67, more than any other network or cable channel! Don't you see the significance here, woman?

*pant**pant**deep sigh*

There, that was my impression of the head of the marketing department at NBC. They replace them every four months or so, because they get so hopped up on coffee and crystal meth that their heads explode.:P

LOLROTF!:)

NO doubt GE's board will once again forgive Jeff Zucker's poor performance and use those nominations as an excuse. "After all, it's not the young man's fault that the audience didn't want to see the best shows on TV" (is what they'll tell themselves).

Speaking of NBC, last year Jeff Zucker boasted that NBC-U has increased its profits by counting the sale of Sundance Channel as income while this year, he's saying that NBC-U's results are really much better than it looks because he didn't sell any other part of it...

Talk about creative accounting!

And the press of course gives him a pass on that nonsense!

This show looks like it can be good but I am kinda hoping for another flop like Kath & Kim was so I can say "You got rid of Earl for this"

For NBC's sake the show better be funnier than the promos are or it will be two hrs of "Office" & "30Rock".

Regardless, it's going to be 2 hours of low ratings for NBC again on Thursdays...

Jeff Zucker's obsession in trying to turn The Office and 30Rock into actual hits has been destroying NBC these past few years.

I bet if they inserted reruns of actual hit NBC sitcoms--like Cheers, The Cosby Show and Seinfeld--in between the first-run episodes of The Office and 30 Rock, you'd see the ratings go up considerably. Unfortunately, as long as NBC continues to prop up a two-legged dog with only one crutch, the Thursday line-up will continue to fall.

I keep forgetting about Parks & Recreation

So do most people, which is why the ratings are so chasm-like.

It'd be fun to force the GE Board to read this thread and watch their faces. ;)
