Yeah, I can see how you would want to berate them for that but what this specific story does not say (only implies with the word affair) but others does is that the senator was MARRIED at the time. So yeah I think pretty much any religion does put that in the sin category.....

Why did the public have to know now about this? I sure hope his wife & family already knew of his adultery. I would have hoped someone that I thought had a bit more class wouldn't resort to "common" antics like a young struggling gal whose trying to "sell a tale" and get her "hustle on" to get ahead, pay the rent or "whatever" by publicly disclosing an affair or affairs with high profile "married" men (Jennifer Flowers, Paula Jones, Monica Lewinsky, Marla Maples, Kristen w/Eliot Spitzer NY Gov., Vicki Morgan, Marilyn Monroe, and young chickie's with their agenda's and the not so young Camilla Parker Bowles). Not saying that's right for the young gals to do that, but I get it! Some folks are just doing what they gotta do or what they think they can only do at the time to get a extra dime to get ahead. I thought Barbara Walters had already arrived at a nice destination and was above the sleezy tabloid exploits. I see know value in her sharing this "at this time" other than to somehow serve herself. For a prominent, established, seemingly "successful" woman that seems like a desperate move. You can't judge a book by the cover. I guess breaking the rules is sexy at any at price.

Did you see her fawning all over Obama when he was on "The View" recently? Barbara looks good for her age but really needs to cut the flirtations on t.v. as most of the men are much younger than her and either married or involved with someone, so I think she ends up making herself look quite foolish and ridiculous.

It would be great if she has a boyfriend and good love life but she is too old to try to be sexy on television. She never was thought of in that way by the public so why start now at her age?

I've thought that before when she wants to dance with various male stars, ie. Patrick Swayze, and she is a lousy dancer on top of being too old.
