Confusing to say the least.. a woman has her breasts removed. Takes male hormones. Keeps all her femal sexual organs. and is a man... If she was a male (by that surgery) she could not have conceived a child, no matter that she would appear a male. This is not the first man to have a child, this is a woman trying to live as a male, but having a child as any woman would. Let us know when a MALE...MAN.. has a child.. this is not truly the case.

Your honest, simplistic approach probably works as an explanation for most people. If we look into it we discover serious complexity beyond the comprehension of most well trained physicians.

For example:

Thomas is a straight man trapped inside a woman's body. He has both female and male moving parts and is able to have intercourse with his wife.(he is sexually attracted to women)

There are 54,000 of these folks living in the United States today (and many more around the world)

Hell, just the legalities alone make him a man. Oregon doesn't have same-sex marriage. This individual is married to a woman. The only way this could happen is if his sex is legally male.

Nobody's claiming he's fully biologically male, only that he's a transgender man, which is quite different. So, the claim that you're fighting so hard only exists in your mind.

Which would seem to suggest that you're arguing with yourself.

two woman can't produce a child sexually, that's why the wo-man who wants to live as a man on the outside. Is always truly a woman on the inside. Her wife can't have children, and even if she could. this want to be a man wo-man, could not impregnant his/wife anyway. So, now the wo-man, who wants to be a man, has to revert back to being a woman and be impregnanted with a real mans sperm, that has been brought at a sperm bank.so the wo-man is not really a man but a woman after.

BUT still if they went on the "MAURY" show, I still would want to know,who be the baby daddy, the DNA, would prove the wo-man who wants to be a man is really the babys mother. you know that old saying when someone makes you mad , and you tell them to " go ---- yourself, well the wo-man, would still have a problemo....WHO DA BABY DADDY!

The reality is that men do have wombs just as some women have penises. In this case, he was always male and had been making the efforts necessary to change his physical body and appearance to reflect the man he really was. just because he stopped taking the testosterone that contributed to his masculine appearance does not change the reality that he is still very much a man. While he may have been born with all the physical attributes of a female, he never was one, not inwardly at least. He is cisgendered, which means he is mentally, psychologically, and emotionally male and always has been, but had the misfortune of being born in a female's body. It's unusual that he is takng advantage of the female anatomy that he'd been given by his birth, but he's not the first to do so. Other cisgendered men have given birth, but they have done it without the public fanfare that's gone on here.

It depends how you define it, and how you define it will be dependant on what medical purpose the doctor has for treating you.

(NB. I am not particularly qualified to discuss this - the following is more a thought experiment than actual real-world events.)

For example, if a transwoman was to have surgery on her feet, the surgeon wouldn't really care what sex or gender she was. If they were to undergo a course of injections, a doctor would need to know what other medication she was on - probably including hormones (and so would care about her genetic sex - whether or not she had a Y chromosome). If she was being treated for depression, then the psychiatrist would probably take account of both her gender and her genetic sex as factors to consider.

But no, doctors don't determine sex by the genitalia - the genetics has the trump card.

Of course they are. The whole newsworthiness of the story depends on a confusion between sex and gender. If the distinction were clarified, it would cease to be a story. Which explains why the media hasn't bothered.
