Ed Asner to appear at 'Up' screening in Minneapolis

Emmy-winning actor Ed Asner is coming to Minneapolis for a special screening of his latest movie, Pixar Animation's "Up." Asner is scheduled to appear at Riverview Theater on Sept.

Everyone should go to see this screening. If only to give Mr. Asner a standing ovation for his multiple contributions to society these many years.

He is truly a voice of wisdom wiht his political views and humanitarian ideas.

Politics aside, this is a marvelous film. Yes, it's animated, and it has its share of laugh-out-loud funny moments, but it's definitely not just a kid-level story. This conservative enjoyed it immensely, and would recommend it to anyone. And the delightfully retro Riverview Theater (corner of E. 38th St. & 42nd Ave. S., in a relatively quiet corner of South Minneapolis), is worth a visit all on its own.
